Had a casual discussion about the climate changes with someone I don't know today. She said there have been changes in the climate in the past before. She then said this place has even been permanently under water some time back (200 million years ago). But I can't understand the reasoning. Is it "let climate change happen, we will adapt"? Don't they know what this will mean in one or two generations time?
